  • I am a married Ugandan man with three kids. Richard 11, Agnes 8 and Ann 6. I am a Social Scientist Graduate from Makerere University. Currently I am working among inmates in Uganda Government Prisons as a Prisons Social Worker. My humanitarian work started in Darfur in 2004-2006 as a Senior Humanitarian Affairs Officer for the then African Union Mission in Sudan (AMIS). I was the pioneer civilian AU staff to be deployed in Darfur. I am interested in writing articles and reports on Humanitarian/human rights situations. I enjoy traveling and solving challenges and conflicts amicably. My challenges now are school fees for my children and getting an international job in a conflict area. I enjoy live music and going places. I like meeting new friends, helping the vulnerable and deprived people. Recently I came across a delegation from Puntland, Somalia and their consultant from UNDP Somalia. We had a good time in Uganda though with a language problem we smiled and shared.wink
