I have been doing volunteer work in Asia, on and off, over the past five years. I usually work independently because I'm the sort of person who needs to be flexible.

Thanks for your comment. It seems to be the same all over the place. I have friends in India who want books - but it's more expensive to send them than buy them locally. Again it's a matter of sending in peoples baggage.
There are lots of charities sending books to Africa and Asia, but I concentrate on the people nearby who - as well as often not having money over for books - may also be threatened with deportation or confronted with racism etc. I find the books form a great bridge and at least show people we care.

Thanks for the message! I didn't know I'd have to pay to answer!

No, you can't. I guess I will have to keep my comments clean since they are visible to all. Just kidding.
Oh well, anyway I like the snake, what kind is it?

Speaking English with a native speaker is a lot different to speaking English with a Thai. Plus my Thai is so good, Thais only want to speak Thai with me.

hello!
I read some of you articles, it was very good. Im interested in the methods that you are using to help the children with difficulties. Every sunday, we are visiting kid or young adolescenes in depressed areas and jails. most of the time we organize some story tellings and games. IF you could teached me or give me ideas on how to be effective at it, that would be a very nice gift. Thanks!

I'm not sure about the 'Most serious relationships' question. What does it mean? 1-3 what? Or does it relate to the previous question? Does it mean 'most serious relationships last 1 - 3 months'???
For what it's worth I was married for 22 years and have had a four year (though on and off) relationship since.
