  • Executive Director of an international socially-engaged and peace-building Buddhist non-profit, conducting projects in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Rwanda, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Palestine-Israel, and with the Lakota Native Americans in South Dakota.

I have arrived at the above after growing up in Israel, fulfilling my dream of being a professional artist in New York City, living in a cloistered Zen Monastery and Temple for 4 years and spending a lot of time in silent retreat.

Upon leaving formal Buddhist training, I continued training in Peacebuilding and nonviolent communication, and utterly lucked out when I reached out to a world renowned Zen master who focuses on global social action, and -- here I am.

I have been a naturalized as an American citizen last year, and since voting in the election I have also been elected delegate to my state political convention and voted on an awesome revamped platform to face the new American reality, including several amendments on immigration I drafted.

On the side, I volunteer and organize in my area around supporting refugees and immigrants, meditate, enjoy movies and my recreational art.

  • You resonate with the above; you feel solid, comfortable with vulnerability; self-confident, can communicate your needs and feelings; you know fully well you are solely responsible for your own wellbeing. You are curious and cosmopolitan, and hold a yearning to combust this amazing, mysterious, life.
