I tried for a while to get support from colleagues but in the end there was little support. People who were unhappy with the changes in conditions at my work just looked for other jobs. The union was really week and the company just kept threatening to sack 10,000 workers if a new pay deal could not be reached.

So I too in the end found another job. I tried a few things to get some action but it was a bit pointless on my own.
