I guess I love my job so much because you just never know what the day will bring. Coming to work two days ago I thought I would be developing our press folders for our annual African Famine appeal. Then within 5 minutes of arriving and half way through my first ristretto of the morning the news hit of the earthquake. Since then it has been go go go.
I am back in the office now after the Aids benefit last night and I will send off a few mails and call Brian our contact in Port au Prince to prep him for a few more interviews here and across the Atlantic for the breakfast shows. I am checking now if the papers need any clarifications before print some of our stories for the Sunday editions. We have had an incredible few days and we have had everything go our way. We were lucky to have a staff member there and that we had a British voice from ground zero.
